Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize the safe and economical repair of the flue by a method wherein steel molding flasks are located at the sections to be repaired of an underground flue and castable refractory material is poured in the molding flasks and, after that, the molding flasks are buried in the refractory material.
CONSTITUTION: The steel molding flasks 4 are located at the eroded sections 3 of the fire bricks 2 of the flue and supported with a support 5. After that, the castable refractory material 6 is poured in the inside of the molding flasks 4 and the molding flasks 4 are buried in the refractory material in as its state so as to serve as a part of the flue. In such a manner as mentioned above, the repair of the flue can be finished in a short time and yet low repairing cost can be resulted.
