CONSTITUTION:Single-turn thin-film winding 3 is wound N' times with a magnetic circuit, consisting of upper and lower magnetic layers 4 and 2 and a gap 5 to close a magnetic path at the part of the gap 5. With respect to the topological relation between the thin-film winding 3 and magnetic circuit and electromagnetic conversion characteristics, the number N' of turns of the magnetic circuit which corresponds to the number N of turns of the winding 3 is incrased only by the combination of the upper and lower magnetic layers 4 and 2. Consequently, the shapes of the patterns of the upper and lower magnetic layers and winding 3 are simplified. The extension off the winding 3 is unnecessary and its sectional area is increased, so the winding resistance is reduced, thereby reducing heat generation due to noises or a recording current during reproduction.
