Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable self-cleansing of a sensor with water current and foam current, by a method wherein a sensor part is embedded in a float part, and the float part is connected to an arm which can rotate freely. CONSTITUTION:A float part 33 consists of a spherical outer wall, a cylindrical inner wall, and a fitting part 36 attached to an arm 50. The outer wall and the inner wall are monolithically formed. In a chamber formed of said walls, an iron piece, working as a weight, is placed inthe lower part, and a foamed styrol, acting as a ballast, is placed thereon. A sensor part 1 is supported at the cylinder part. The arm 50 is located in a manner to pierce through a fixture 51, and the length is adjusted by an adjusting screw 52. The fixture 51 pivots following the vertical movement of the float part 33 to the vertical motion of a liquid level 41. This constitution causes floating of the float part 33 to the fluctuation in the liquid level 41 and enables continuous cleansing of the sensor with water current.
