Abstract

PURPOSE:To utilize a polling idle time and the polling channel to transmit data from a center to individual terminal equipments and to store and operate this data in terminal equipments. CONSTITUTION:A terminal controller 42 is set to the waiting state by a command from a control box 12. For polling from a center 1, an individual data request command is transmitted to the center 1 from a logic controller 39. The center 1 transmits a data list from a data storage part 32 through the polling channel in a polling idle time by a data processing part 31. The terminal equipment selects specific data from the data list and stores transmitted data in a video storage part 43. Stored data is operated on a receiver 11 through a RAM44 by the controller 42. Thus, data is transmitted without television channels.
