Abstract

PURPOSE:To transmit individual video data from a center to respective terminal equipments, by utilizing an polling idle time and the polling data channel. CONSTITUTION:A terminal controller 41 is set to the waiting state by a command from a keyboard 44 of a terminal equipment. For polling from a center 1, an individual data request command is transmitted from a logic controller 39 through a modulating/demodulating part 38. When the center 1 receives this command, a data processing part 31 takes out video data for video data list from a data storage part 32 by a computer 26. The polling channel is used to transmit this data to the pertinent terminal equipment in a polling idle time. The terminal equipment stores received data in a data storage part 42 and projects this data onto a receiver 11 through a RAM43. Thus, video data is transmitted withous channels for television programs.
