Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to operate fins accurately in both vertical and horizontal directions through a single operating member by a method wherein a plurality of groups of fins arranged vertically and horizontally are linked to one another and the operating member is slidably attached to one of the horizontal fins so that the operating member engages one of the vertical fins.
CONSTITUTION: The horizontal fins 5 and the vertical fins 3 which are linked together in groups are provided at the blowout device 1 and the operating member 9 which is capable of making the horizontal fins pivot in the vertical direction is fixed to one of the horizontal fins 5 so as to slide in the horizontal direction. In this case, the operating member 9 is made to have an engaging section which comes into engagement with one of the vertical fins 3 and which pivots in the vertical direction. With the above structure, when a knob 9c of the operating member 9 is pivoted vertically, the horizontal fins 5 moves vertically and when the knob 9c is pivoted horizontally, the vertical fins 3 moves horizontally through teeth 7a of a pinion 7. Consequently, the fins 3 and 5 can be moved accurately through the single operating member 9 and the air blowout port can be closed with surety by the vertical fins 3.
