Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to obtain a commutatorless electric motor at low cost by a method wherein magnetic paths to make ways for the main magnetic flux and an auxiliary magnetic flux only in the axial direction are provided in rotors, and the main magnetic flux is made to interlink with the primary and the secondary windings on the stator side and the auxiliary magnetic flux is made to interlink with the primary and the teritary windings through the above mentioned magnetic paths. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic paths to make ways for the main magnetic flux 5 and the auxiliary magnetic flux 8 only in the axial direction are provided in the rotor cores 3, 3', the main magnetic flux 5 is made to interlink with the primary winding 2 and the secondary winding 7 on the stator side, and the auxiliary magnetic flux 8 is made to interlink with the primary winding 2 and the tertiary windings 11A, 11B respectively through the magnetic paths, commutating action by magnetic fluxes is made to perform between thoses magnetic fluxes in the axial directin and rotating magnetic field formed by the primary winding 2, frequency of the secondary winding 7 and the tertiary windings 11A, 11B is made to coincide constantly with frequency of the electric power source notwithstanding rotating of the rotor, and moreover two pairs of the tertiary windings 11A, 11B being connected in series are made as transferable in the opposite direction with each other, and the compounded voltage of the above mentioned two pairs of the tertiary windings 11A, 11B is added to the secondary winding to enable to regulate rotaing speed and power factor of the rotor.
