Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable measurement independently of burst signal and non-modulation consecutive signal, by providing a switch for the input of BPFs and controlling this switch with the self-running period at the reception of non-modulation consecutive signal. CONSTITUTION:A burst signal received at an input terminal 51 is split into two ways at a hybrid 52. One split signal is inputted to a BPF53 passing only through carrier via a switch 64. The output of the BPF53 is detected at a detector 54 to obtain a voltage corresponding to the level of carrier. This voltage is given to a sample hold circuit 55 and only the detected voltage of carrier at non-modulation part is sampled. On the other hand, when a non-modulation consecutive signal is received at the input terminal 51, the non-modulation consecutive signal is produced at the self-running period to control on/off of the switch 64. Thus, the non-modulation consecutive signal is also in burst shape for the input of the BPF53 to indicate the same step response in the case of burst signal.
