PURPOSE:To provide package paper capable of allowing an inside photographic negative film to be seen through and being written on the outer face, by impregnating a polyethylene film with a specified range of inorganic filler in order to control its transparency for the whole beams of light in the proper range. CONSTITUTION:A high density polyethylene film impregnated with 20-60wt% inorganic filler, such as CaCO3 or talc to adjust the whole light transparency of the film to 20-50% is manufactured by the inflation method. This film is formed into a cylindrical shape 1 and properly cut, and then partitions 5, 6, 7 are formed by heat sealing 2, 3, 4 in order to place a plurality of negative films. The films are put into the cylinder 1 in the arrow direction, thus permitting the transparency of the package paper 1 to be improved, the inside contents to be easily seen through and memoranda or the like to be easily written on the package paper 1 with a pencil or the like.
