Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a picture having a satisfactory picture quality, by sticking 2 or more kinds of positive and negarive charge type charge control agents, to the surface of a magnetic toner particle containing magnetic powder and binder. CONSTITUTION:2 or more kinds of positive and negative charge type charge control agents are stuck on the surface of a magnetic toner particle containing 30- 70wt% magnetic powder and 30-70wt% binder resin. The charge control agent is roughly divided into metallic dyestuff of negative charge property and nigrosine compound dyestuff of positive charge property, and concretely speaking, oil black, By, So of positive charge type and bari-fast black 3804, etc. are available. The particle diameter of the charge control agent is usually <=30mu, and <=10mu is desirable. Since the toner generates a part which is charged intensely with positive and negative, locally on its surface, a satisfactory picture is obtained in case of both positive charge type and negative charge type photosensitive bodies.
