CONSTITUTION:Information on cell units is stored in connectors 23, 25 which must be changed-over without fail when a cell unit is exchanged. When a shipper is used, terminal 44 and terminal 45 are caused to develop a short-circuit as a shipper cell unit 11 is connected to a specimen chamber 3 and the connector 23 is connected to the connector 22, and electric potential is caused to become low level by a pullup resistor 40 in an I//O control substrate. This signal is conveyed to a microprocessor 5 through an I//O port, and a program for the shipper is processed. Next, a cell processing unit 10 is installed to the specimen chamber 3, the connector 25 is connected to the connector 22 and the connector 23 is removed.
