Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an equipment which produces an uniform voidless foamed molding limited in the apparent specific gravity with a proper adaptability to changes of moldig conditions and material resin by means of several stages of choke sections provided in a die in such a manner as to be adjustable from outside. CONSTITUTION:A foamring agent and a thermoplastic synthetic resin melted and mixed in an extrusion molding machine are rapidly expanded to make a foamed melted resin 5 while passing in an unfoamed state 1 through a choke section 3 in a die 2. Then, while subsequently passing through a double stage choke section 6, it is further expanded rapdily to effect a double stage foaming to form a foamed melted resin 8, and regulated to desired dimension with a sizer 9 while cooled in a cooling water tank 10. The choke sections 3 and 6 are adjusted in the clearance with screw 4 and 7 from outside so that the foamed melted resins 5 and 8 present a speicified foamed state according to respective molding conditions.
