PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth cast article on which no fusing trace of resin particles on the surface of the casting even when used in the casting by blow molding the parison of a resin containing a foaming agent thereby to obtain a vanishing type mold for casting with skins on its surface. CONSTITUTION:A parison P made of a synthetic resin containing a foaming agent, extruded by a blow molding machine 2 is blow-molded in a blow molding mold 3 thereby to obtain a foamed blow molded article 5 with skins. When this foamed blow molded article is used as a vanishing type mold for casting, it is possible to obtain a smooth and fine casting product on the surface of which the fusing trace of the resin particles does not remain.
