Abstract
PURPOSE: To adjust discharge speed of fluid and to reduce bearing load by a method wherein a short sealing part is provided at the neighborhood of a suction and a discharge port as a casing is approached to a side plate end face.
CONSTITUTION: At two points at the neighborhood of a suction and a discharge port 7, 8 a pump casing 1 and the end face 5B of a movable side plate 5 are approached by a length l2 which does not exceed 1, 4 times as large as the addendum circular pitch l to provide respective sealing parts 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b and additionally the end part 5B of the side plate 5 is cut off in the middle part along the external circumference of the movable side plate 5 of the sealing parts 11a, 11b upto the sealing parts 12a, 12b to provide clearances 13, 14. Thus, the fluid is easy to flow from the discharge port 8 to the gaps 13, 14 through the sealing parts 12a, 12b, a plurality of spaces between threads at gaps 13, 14 are connected to each other to form a large volume which displays a pressure accumulating function. Accordingly, the fluid is supplied at suitable speed from the discharge port 8 and lower noise and smaller bearing load can be conducted.
