Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify structure of a circuit, by using a part of contactors, as a sibsidiary means, for changeover of power running and brake and also for switching from forwarding to reversing.
CONSTITUTION: In order to control a chopper section CH, contactors P, F1 and F2 are turned on when forwarding by power, and contactors P, R1 and R2 are turned on when reversing by power. At the time of using forwarding regenerative braking, contactors B and R1 and turned on to excite a magnetic field MF in reverse direction, and at the same time, the chopper section CH is connected, in parallel, to series connection sections of an armature A and the magnetic field MF. By using the contactor R1 for power reversing and forwarding regenerative braking in common, it is possible to simplify structure of a car-operating chopper control circuit.
