Abstract

PURPOSE:To change an output current without lowering the resolution, by constituing the first current output D/A converter with a current Miller circuit and by controlling the reference current of the first current output D/A converter by the second current output D/A converter. CONSTITUTION:MOSFETs N1-N3 constitute a power on and off control circuit, and the first current output D/A converter consisting of MOSFETs N4-N13 and the second D/A converter are connected to the drain of the MOSFET N3. When the reference current of the second D/A converter is changed by a digital signal, currents flowed to MOSFETs N6, N10 and N13 are proportional to the current which flows the MOSFET N3, and thus, the current which flows to a speaker SP is changed without lowering the resolution of the first D/A converter.
