Abstract

PURPOSE:To speedly obtain a synthetic image, by memorizing image information of desired portion of an image in the image memory and electrically masking the desired portion of the other image as an image signal of real time by combining with the partial image in the memory. CONSTITUTION:All images of draft A are shifted in the image memory as electric signals and an unnecessary portion 30 is removed by remaining only a paragraph section 29 in the image memory in accordance with coordinate display values (X1, Y1, X2, Y2,). Next, the draft B is turned to image signals by line scanning from the upper in order and set them as a record signal. Scanning image signal up to the required image portion 31 according to the coordinate display values (X1', Y1', X2', Y2') is masked by real time and removed. When the required image portion 31 of a scanning line is arrived, the left undesired portion 32 is masked and image information of image A left in the image memory is removed for this signal time. Then, the signal is combined synchronizingly with scanning of draft B and an output image C is recorded and play backed by using line scanning by alternatingly setting the paragraph section 29 of draft A and the required image section 31 as a recording signal.
