Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of cavitation due to the shortage of suction in the oil pressure circuit of an oil-pressure type rotary excavator, etc., by using a system in which as soon as an operating valve restores to neutral, the whole amount of return oil from oil-pressure motor is returned to the suction side of the oil-pressure motor.
CONSTITUTION: Oil pressure from an oil-pressure pump 1 is supplied through an operating valve 2 and a counter-balance valve 3 to pilelines 4 and 5 to turn an oil- pressure motor 6, whereby driving a load 7 connected to the motor 6. When restoring the operating valve 2 to neutral position 22 to stop the load 7, since the pipelines 8 and 9 are connected with each other because the operating valve 2 is in the neutral position 22, the whole amount of oil pressure discharged by the pumping action of the oil pressure motor 6 by loading inertia is flowed into the pipeline 8 and the counter-balance valve 3. Thus, the occurrence of cavitation due to the shortage of oil can be exactly prevented without causing oil shortage on the suction side of the oil-pressure motor 6.
