Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the vibration propagated from the stays to the sound insulation plates, by a method wherein a plurality of stays are fitted to the side plates of a tank which contains a machine proper and sound insulation plates are supported between the stays by thin plates and heavy weights provided with dynamic vibration absorbers are fixed to the position close to the boundary of the thin plates and the sound insulation plates. CONSTITUTION:An electric apparatus proper 4 which consists of a core 4 and a winding 6 wound around the core 5 is contained in a tank 1 and the winding 6 is connected to outside bus-bars through the bushings 9 provided on top of the tank 1 and the tank 1 is filled with transformer oil 7. Then many reinforcing stays 3 are fitted on the outside walls of the tank 1 at a certain interval and in rectangular window portions made by those stays 3 thin plates 10 are welded and sound insulation plates 11 are fitted to those thin plates. In above configuration, annular heavy weights 12 provided with hynamic vibration absorbers 13 are fixed near the boundary of the thin plates 10 and the sound insulation plates 11. With above configuration the vibration propagated from the stays 3 to the sound insulation plates 11 is reduced so that the noises are reduced for a wide range of frequency.
