Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the absorption of moisture, by coating thin hermetic films on the bottom of a lower insulating plate, the inside surface of an inner insulating cylinder and the outside surface of an outer insulating cylinder and closing the gap between the upper ends of the inner and the outer insulating cylinders by a hermetic member.
CONSTITUTION: An upper insulating plate 9 and a lower insulating plate 10 are provided over or under a high-voltage winding 2, a medium-voltage winding 3 and a low-voltage winding 4, which are concentrically provided around a core 1. The lower insulating plate 10 is located on a fixed plate 13 provided on a lower clamp member 15. A clamping unit 16 attached to an upper clamp member 14 is located in contact with the upper insulating plate 9. Both the insulating plates are vertically compressed by the clamping unit 16 to fixedly support the windings 2, 3, 4. An inner insulating cylinder 8 and an outer insulating cylinder 7 are provided inside or outside the windings concentrically therewith. The windings are enclosed by the insulating plates 9, 10 and the insulating cylinders 7, 8. The surfaces of the plates 9, 10 and the cylinders 7, 8 are coated with thin hermetic insulating films 6. The gap between the upper ends of the insulating cylinders 7, 8 is closed by a hermetic member.
