Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A magnetic garnet film is formed on a nonmagnetic garnet substrate of (110). Thus different types of magnetic bubbles having different states of magnetic wall are generated and made to opposite to information 1 and 0. Then not a magnetic field but a static vertical bias magnetic field is applied within the film surface, and accordingly difference of the bubble erasure magnetic fields according to the type of bubble. Thus the state of magnetic wall is discriminated by the static erasure magnetic field difference.
