Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize the discrimination for the state of magnetic wall due to the difference of annihilated magnetic field, by making use of the fact that the value of the annihilated magnetic field of static magnetic bubble differs through depending on the state of the magnetic wall when the intrasurface magnetic field parallel to a prescribed magnetic garnet film is applied onto the said film surface. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic garnet film of orthorhombic magnetic anisotropic (YTmBi)3(FeGa)5O12 having an axis of [110] to be easily magnetized is grown on a nonmagnetic garnet (110) substrate. Thus the different prescribed types of magnetic bubbles are generated to be made to oppose to information 1 and 0. These magnetic bubbles annihilate when a magnetic field is applied parallel to axis [001] within the (110) film, and the magnitude of the annihilating magnetic field becomes different value according to the type of the magnetic bubble. Accordingly the state of magnetic wall corresponding to the information can be assuredly discriminated by the difference of annihilated magnetic field.
