Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily detect and control a temperature, and to simplify a device, by increasing a temperature change of a temperature measuring part of a fixing device for fixing a toner image by use of contact heating. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum pipe 14 surounding a heat source 2 such as a heater lamp, etc. of a heating roller 1 is inserted and fixed into a flange part of the heating roller 1. When the heat source 2 is extended up to the part of the pipe 14, a temperature change of the pipe 14 is increased. A temperature sensor 13 of a bimetal, etc. is installed to the pipe 14. In this way, temperature is detected and controlled easily, and also a device is simplified.
