Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide excellent response of start in such a way that when starting fuel is simultaneously injected to all the air cylinders or some of them in synchronization with the turning angle of a crankshaft extraneously to the reference cylinder positioning signals.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel injection reference pulse width arithmetic circuit 13 in an arithmetic unit 8 calculates the reference pulse width TP=Q/N, when arithmetic operations of injection pulse width is required, from signals Q out of an intake air flow sensor 4 and signals N out of a crankshaft turning angle sensor 3, and the related value is compensated in a compensation circuit 14 by means of signals which come from a water temperature sensor 6, and a sensor 7 of a starting time compensation circuit 15 and of intake air temperatures, etc., and it is given as input to a distributor 16. When starting, the distributor 16 shall have all the electromagnetic valves or some of the electromagnetic valves connected to an injection width pulse counter resulting in synchronously injecting fuel into all the air cylinders or some of the air cylinders, then after a stop of cranking, proper fuel is injected into each air cylinder one after another in the order of counting.
