Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a titled corrector which is simple in construction and is adaptable to small sized works as well without hampering the movement of a welding torch by inputting the position deviation of each work detected with respect to the position data having been taught before-hand to a storage arithmetic circuit via an A/D converter and correcting the same automatically according to the said position deviations.
CONSTITUTION: The work which is completed of welding is removed from a working table, and the next work is set to the working table, after which a correcting 50 is set to the work and a correction start switch 42 is turned on. As a result, the position deviation of the just set work which respect to the position data having beforehand been taught is detected with displacement meters 52, 62, and the difference between this position deviation and the initial value of the position deviation set previously is operated 76, and is stored in a data correction memory. The jig 50 is removed from the work and a welding start switch 44 is turned on. Hence, a storage arithmetic device 76 calculates correction position data by adding the above-described operation data to the position data having beforehand been taught and runs the welding torch in accordance with this correction data, thereby welding the work according to the taught welding conditions.
