Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the confirmation of normality of a digital channel section and the continuity test of the entire channel, by providing a digital pattern transmission and detection circuit between a time sharing exchange circuit network and a coder/ decoder of a digital exchanger via a signal insertion and pickup circuit. CONSTITUTION:A signal insertion circuit INS and a signal pickup circuit DRP are provided between a digital exchange network TDSW and a coder/decoder CODEC of a digital exchanger, and a digital pattern transmission circuit D, POSC is connected to the circuit INS. Further, via the circuit DRP, a digital pattern detection circuit P, REC is connected. The pattern signal from a circuit D, POSC1 is detected at a circuit D, REC2 through paths (a), (b). The pattern signal from the circuit D, POSC2 is detected at the circuit D, REC1 through the paths (c), (d). The normality of the channel including a signal distribution scanner SD/SCN and a channel system control section SPC is confirmed, allowing to perform continuity test for the entire channels at the same time.
