PURPOSE:To provide a rotation angle measuring device which is capable of grasping accumulated pitch errors in advance detecting rotation angle at a high accuracy by correcting a measured value with the data of accumulated pitch errors. CONSTITUTION:As a signal 20 for starting the measurement is inputted, an operation unit 16 memorizes the signal counted by a pulse count unit 15 being given by a rotary encoder. When a stop signal 21 is inputted, the operation unit 16 also memorizes the value of the count unit 15 at that moment. The device corrects a measured value based in the data of a correction data unit 17 wherein accumulated pitch errors grasped in advance have been memorized and the data of a condition setting unit 18, and displays a corrected value on a display unit 19.
