Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an efficient agitator which replaces fluid constantly and satisfactorily by attaching a scraping plate at the outer edge of a spiral blade rotating adjacently to the inner wall of a main tank body. CONSTITUTION:At an agitating device for agitating high viscous fluid to be heated or cooled, or accompanying reaction heat; scraping plates 5, of which end tips directly contact with the inner wall of a main tank body 1, are attached along the outer edges of plural spiral-shaped blades 4 which are rotating adjacently to the inner wall of the main tank body 1. While rotating the spiral blades 4, the fluid circulates in whirling in the tank, and the fluid is scraped off by the scraping plates 5 in the same direction of the fluid flow to be pushed downward. Accordingly, the fluid coming into contact with the heat conducting surface always replaced satisfactorily, and the agitating efficiency is improved.
