One part or the whole of the electrodes 3 are set in the semi-oval bodies. 1-20mg. of sodium, 2- 60mg. of mercury and at least 5-500 Torr of one or more members selected from the group consisting of xenon, krypton, argon and neon acting as starting rare gases are sealed in the luminous tube.
