Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily keep the balance of a long-sized rotor of a large capacity by a method wherein a groove, to be used for a balance weight, is provided in the slot for regid compensation and the balance of the subject rotor is maintained by fixing the balance weight in the groove. CONSTITUTION:The groove for the balance weight is formed in the slot, to be used for rigid compensation and provided in a rotor body and the groove for the balance weight, is provided by making a balance weight inserting groove 5 at the end section of the rigid compensating slot. Then, the balance weight 6 consisting of a balance piece 8 and a set-screw 7 is inserted from the balance weight inserting groove 5 and the balance piece 8 is fixed in the balance weight groove by tightening the set-screw. Through these procedures, the unbalance with could not be removed by the conventional method can now be compensated easily.
