Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance preventive effect for electrostatic charge by forming a small- sized pulley, used in a copying machine, a fascimle, etc. which utilizes electrostatic images, in porous material such as foaming plastics etc. and impregnating an electrostatic charge preventive agent in this pulley.
CONSTITUTION: An electrostatic charge preventive agent is impregnated in a pulley made in porous material. When polyglycol-ether (brown viscous substance with molecular value 720, specific gravity 112, solidifying point 1°C, and viscosity 675cp) is used, for example, as the electrostatic charge preventive agent, a pulley of sintered alloy with outside diameter 10mm, inside diameter 2mm, thickness 5mm, and weight 10g is placed in a depressurized room and, upon depressurization, the preventive agent is injected for impregnation. When impregnation is completed, the room shall be reinstated to normal temperature and the work taken out. According to this arrangement, a pulley impregnated with 0.01g polyglycolether can be obtained. Because this preventive agent moves gradually to the outside cirvcumference owing to the centrifugal force and then is attached to the belt, the effect of electrostatical prevention will last long.
