Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the accurate irradiation of laser beam and at the same time to simplify the control for distribution of an optical system, by fixing the permanent magnets at the outer circumference of a lens holder and arranging the magnets opposite to the permanent magnets to vary the magnetic foece to vary the repulsive force. CONSTITUTION:Permanent magnets 16a-16d are attached at the outer circumference of a lens holder 15 of a reading lens 14 and at the same time permanent magnets 17a-17d are attached at the tips of cores 19a-19d wound by energizing coils 18a-18d forming an electromagnet and opposite to the magnets 16a-16d, respectively. These permanent magnets are set opposite to each other among those having the same polarity to case the repulsive force. In such constitution, the energizing current is flowed to one or adjacent two of the coils 18a-18d to cause the repulsive force among the magnets to give oscillating motion to the upper edge of the holder 15 in every direction. The degree of oscillation is adjusted by the energizing intensity. As a result, the laser beam can be accurately irradiated and at the same time, the control of distribution can be simplified for an optical system.
