Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:An ω-aminoalkoxyphenylpyrazole of formula I (R is 1W3C alkyl which may be substituted by hydroxyl group or phenyl which may be substituted by halogen atom; n is an integer 2W5) and an acid addition salt thereof.
USE: Useful for the remedy of schizophrenia, having the central nervous depressant action, and administrable orally and parenterally in a daily dose of 0.5W50mg/kg body weightk usually 1W30mg/kg body weight.
PROCESS: An ω-halogenoalkoxyphenylpyrazole of formula II (X is halogen) is reacted with a piperazine of formula III, preferably in an inert solvent, e.g. dioxane, at room temperature to 150°C to give the compound of formula I.
