CONSTITUTION:Feedback signals FB, FBpi/2 which are detected at an encoder 9 and different in phase by pi/2, are applied to a phase difference detector 20 with a reference signal REF to output an output signal V0. The V0 is given to a servo amplifier 19 via a phase compensator 18 to drive the servo motor. The reference signal REF is produced from a reference signal generating circuit 17 consisting of up-down counters, and the period (corresponding to the reference speed) can be changed with a clock frequency fr from a frequency converter 22.
