Abstract
PURPOSE:To execute an automatic equalization by a simple means using an impulse, by using an obtained tap factor value as a tap factor of a transversal filter, in an automatic equalizer of the transversal filter. CONSTITUTION:A training signal is applied to an inpulse regenerating circuit 1, a regenerated impulse sequence is inputted to a delay register 2, is provided to a register group 4 as an initial value of a tap factor, and correlation Aj to the impulse sequence is derived by a correlator 3. A new tap factor string which has been corrected and derived at every tap by the correlation Aj obtained by a tap factor correcting device 5 is latched by the register group 4, and is used for the next operation. After such an operation is repeated several times, the tap factor string is shifted to a register 9. A signal of the transmission line is led to a register 6, and cumulative multiplication by each tap factor string is executed. An output of a multiplier group 7 is cumulated by an accumulator 8, and an equalized signal is obtained as an output of the accumulator 8.
