Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the captioned film useful for food packaging and the like which is excellent in pinhole resistance, strength, O2 barrier property by a method wherein after polyamide composed of xylylene diamine and dicarbonic acid as well as aliphatic polyamide is extruded, they are stretched under a specific condition.
CONSTITUTION: A polymer containing in molecular chains 50 or more % by mol of polyamide component composed of one or more xylylene diamine components of (meta and/or para)xylylene diamine and one or more dicarbonic acid components of α-, ω-aliphatic dicarbonic acid (e.g.; adipic acid etc.) and an aliphatic polyamide (e.g.; nylone 6 etc.) are fused an coextruded by the same circular mold to prepare a unstretched laminated film. The unstretched film is stretched biaxially at stretching temperatures 50W140°C, at stretching rates exceeding 50,000%/min and at stretching magnifications 2.5W5 in either length or breadth by the inflation method to obtain the desired laminated film.
