Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently concentrate sludges, which is difficult to be concentrated without using chemicals by providing a mixing tank in which pressurized water dissolving evacuated gas is admixed with sludges and a mixing tank in which pressurized water dissolving unevacuated gas is admixed with sludges followed by evaculation.
CONSTITUTION: Usualy a pressurized water C is introduced through a change-over valve 15 to an ejetor that is the first mixer 4 without evacuation. While pressurized water is spouted from a nozzle in the inside of the ejector, the sludge A is sucked from a sludge tank 1 to the ejector and a mixed liquid E is flowed into floating concentration tank 6 to form froth layers by the sludge particles. In the worse condition of the sludge, by operating the change-over valves 11W15 and a sludge supplying pump 2, sludge A and the pressurized water C are poured into the second mixing vessels 3 respectively through the change-over valves 11 or said valve 14 and then are mixed under the pressure above the atomosphere. The mixing liquid E is transported to evacuating apparatus 5 and evacuated and thereafter is poured into the floating concentration tank 6.
