CONSTITUTION:A magnetic disk control device 11 which is provided with a protective information memory buffer 13 and a control part 12 is provided between magnetic disk units 14b, 14n, and a channel 15, and when a transfer request is sent to the control part 12 of the control device 11 from a CPU14, whether protective information of the protective information memory buffer 13, and a transfer area are overlapped or not is checked, and whether the transfer request is proper or not checked.
