PURPOSE:To obtain B-contg. flux for welding adding B uniformly into molten metal by beforehand mixing >=1 kinds of metals and alloys and a B-contg. compound out of flux constituting materials, then remixing this mixture and constituting materials other than those mentioned above. CONSTITUTION:The B-contg. compound refers to compounds such as metha-, di-, tetra-, penta-, hepta-, octaborate of alkali metals such as Na, K, Li, or the like, and calcium borate type compounds such as colemanite or the like, magnesium borate type compounds such s boracite, etc. >=1 kinds of metals and alloys and the B- contg. compound out of the flux constituting materials are beforehand mixed. Next, this mixture and constituting materials other than those mentioned above are remixed, whereby the product is prepd.
