Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the heat insulating property of an outer wall, and to utilize the solar heat for air-heating of a room, by a method wherein a compound board, consisting of a transparent plate such as a glass and a metal plate, having a hollow layer between them, is used as the construction material of the surface of an outer wall of a building.
CONSTITUTION: The compound board 5 to collect the solar heat is installed in such way as to form a hollow layer 7 between an outer wall 6 of a building and the board 5, and heat insulating material 8 is adhered to the surface of an outer wall 6. The compound board 5 is made of a transparent plate 11 such as a glass or a metal plate 12 which are confronted with each other interposing some air layer 14 between them, and the circumferential parts of a board is closed up by airtight seals 14. The suction opening 6a to take the air into the inside 9 of a room is bored through the lower end of an outer wall 6, and a duct 6b which is interconnected to a fan 10 installed in the rear of the ceiling is formed in the upper end of a hollow layer 7.
