Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate adjusting of an output error of a sensor, by a method wherein an output sensitivity of a gas rate sensor is adjusted via a sensitivity switch.
CONSTITUTION: An output of a gas rate sensor 2, housed in a constant temperature oven 1, and a pulse signal from a distance sensor at every unit running distance are inputted to a signal processor 4 where an advancing direction and running distance of a running object are measured to indicate a running cource. The connection of a power source E to a heater in the constant temperature oven 1 is controlled via an ignition switch IG.SW, a power source circuit 8, and an energizing control circuit 9. Then, when the running object is caused to restore to a starting point after running around an appropriate place, in case the starting point does not coincide with the restoring point, the output sensitivity of the gas rate sensor 2 is adjusted by means of a sensitivity adjusting switch 7. This facilitates correcting of an output error.
