Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to always perform an accurate indication of a running path, by a method wherein, until a temperature of a constant temperature oven, housing a gas rate sensor, is stabilized, the indication of the running cource is prohibited, and a temperature indication is conducted.
CONSTITUTION: A pulse signal from a distance sensor 3 at every unit running distance and an output of a gas rate sensor 2 in a constant temperature oven 1 are sent to a signal processing circuit 4, and a running distance and a change in azimuth are measured to count a current position. The details are sent to an indicator 5 to indicate the running distance. When an ignition switch IG.SW disconnected, a power source circuit 7 continues to energize a heater in the constant temperature oven 1 for a given period of time, and simultaneously, actuates a buzzer alarm. A process, which decides a temperature stabilizing condition in the constant temperature oven 1 from a given energizing elapsing time amount, is fed to a signal processor 4. If a temperature condition is decided to be unstable, an indicator 5 is suspended indicating a running path and a temperature indication is performed until offest controlling of the output of the gas rate sensor 2 is completed. When temperature restores to a normal condition after the running object stops once, an indication prohibition is released. This enables to perform an accurate indication of a running cource.
