Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate noise of large amplitude at the time of changeover of reproducing track without causing disturbance of reproduced picture and deterioration of sound quality by using a reproducing track change signal and a synchronizing reproducing track change signal changing them at need. CONSTITUTION:Reproducing signals are taken out from a magnetic recording medium by a reproducing head 2 or 3 and inputted to a changeover switch circuit 6 through a preamplifier 4 or 5, respectively, and the reproducing track is changed by the circuit 6. When noise is generated in reproducing voice signals, a retriggerable monostable multivibrator 21 is activated to detect the dropout of signal 19, and a changing circuit consisting of AND circuits 22, 23 and an OR circuit 24 is controlled by the detection signal. When the signal 19 is in lacking state, a reproducing track changeover signal 16 is outputted. In other cases, a synchronized reproducing track changeover signal 25 synchronized to zero cross point of periodical noise obtained from the monostable multivibrator 15 and FF17 is outputted to control a holding signal generating circuit 27 and the circuit 6. Thus, noise at the time of reproducing track changeover is eliminated.
