CONSTITUTION:A disc 31 on which composite video signals are recorded so that the composite video signal including horizontal synchronizing signals can be reproduced by scanning all recording tracks 32 at a constant speed, and a disc driving device 35 driving the disc 31 are provided. A scanning device 37 scanning the said recording tracks 32 and detecting the composite video signals, and a horizontal synchronizing signal detecting circuit 42 detecting the horizontal synchronizing signals from the detected composite video signals are provided. Further, a disc driving control circuit 36 controlling the said disc driving device 35 so that a period 1H of the horizontal synchronizing signals sequentially detected with the detecting circuit 42 can be made to a constant time on all the recording tracks 32 of the disc 31, is provided.
