Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:Organic phosphoric esters of formula I (R, R' are 1W6C alkyl; X is halogen, 1W6C alkyl, 1W6C alkoxy; Y is halogen; m is 0W2; n is 0, 1).
EXAMPLE: O-Ethyl-S-(2-methoxycarbonyloxy)ethyl-O-2,4-dichlorophenyl phosphorothiolate.
USE: Insecticide, acaricide, nematocide: they are effective against insect pests of Mandibulate and Suctoria and of parasite on plants, but cause no injury to crops.
PREPARATION: The reaction of a compound of formula II (M is alkali metal, ammonium) with another compound of formula III (Hal is halogen) gives the compound of formula I. The reaction is conducted in a solvent such as hexane, preferably at 0W100°C.
