Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The air liquefying apparatus 1 is communicative with an oxygene storing tank 2 and a nitrogen storing tank 3, and the oxygen storing tank 2 is connected via an oxygen evaporator 4 and an air-oxygen mixer 5 to a combustion chamber of an internal engine 6. An electronic controlling unit ECU10 having a central processng unit CPU10a is connected to the mixer 5. The liquid oxygen that has been liquefied in the air liquefying apparatus 1 is evaporated at the evaporator 4, and as the ECU10 carries out arithmetic processing accoding to the signals from sensors 6a to 6d and a used fuel signal generator 6e to introduce a suitable amount of oxygen corresponding to the operation condition of the engine to the mixer 5, even when an inferior fuel is used, a favorable burning efficiency can be obtained.
