Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of power transmission, by utilizing a hydraulic pressure source in common for driving a fan and a power steering system.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of idling operation of engine, a normal power steering circuit is constituted by closing a flow controlling valve means 5 and feeding most of hydraulic oil discharged from a pump to a servo valve 57 of the power steering system. Then, the temperature of engine cooling water is detected by a control means 50 and a changeover valve 40 is shifted to a lower, second position. Resultantly, oil in a port 53 is supplied via a port 55 to a first fan driving hydraulic motor 23 for driving a cooling fan and thereby cooling the engine cooling water. In this state, if the steering wheel is turned, the changeover valve 40 is brought back to the first position by the control means 50 so as to precede the power steering circuit. Thus, it is enabled to improve the efficiency of power transmission.
