Abstract
PURPOSE:To adjust white balance by adjusting the indication of a meter to the zero- point even if color temperature is extremely high, by inducing an effective offset to the meter which indicates the level difference of an R-B signal when gain control range of channels R and B are large. CONSTITUTION:Control voltages for R and B gain control circuits 3a and 3b are obtained from a variable resistor 6 and they are passed through a resistance 7 to give a meter an offset voltage. Consequently, if color temperature is high, the voltage dividing ratio of the variable resistor is lowered to increase the gain of a channel R while decreasing that of a channel B. At the point where the meter indicates a zero point, the gain of the channel B is not lowered more actually when it has no offset, so a signal R is set somewhat lower and a signal B is set somewhat higher.
