Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the utilization efficiency of desalting energy by connecting a condensing tank and an evaporating tank in their upper part, providing a brine heating means, and conveying a conveying gas having saturated steam pressure obtained in the evaporating tank to a flocculating tank.
CONSTITUTION: Sea water enters a concentrating tank 1 at 25°C through a water supply pipe 7, and while it is being conveyed from the upper part to the lower part in a concentrating pipe 20, it is warmed up and shifts into the upper part of the tank 1. The sea water shifted into the uppermost part of the pipe 20 is heated up to 90°C by a heat pipe 13 and is fed from a connecting pipe 3 into a packed tower or evaporating tank 2. Thence, the sea water is successively lowered of temp. while giving steam to the conveying air by a blower pump 5 and elevating the temp. of the conveying air and shifts into the lower part of the tank 2. The sea water cooled down to 30°C is discharged from a brine discharge pipe 12.
