Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a container having excellent resistance to moisture permeation and heat and mechanical strength, obtained by molding a composite resin consisting of a polyolefin resin and Al powder.
CONSTITUTION: Al powder having an average particle size of 5W50μ is immersed in a soln. of an aminoalkylsilane compd. such as γ-aminopropyltrimethoxy silane dissolved in water or an org. solvent, and then dried to obtain a silane-treated Al powder (B). Then 60W5wt% said component B is blended with 40W95wt% polyolefin resin (A) such as PP or PE alone or said polyolefin resin contg. 0.1W50wt% polyolefin resin modified by 0.001W15wt% unsaturated carboxylic acid or derivative thereof such as maleic anhydride. The resulting composite resin is molded by injection molding, blow molding or injection blow molding to obtain a container.
